Nolvadex is an anti-estrogen used for the purpose of preventing and treating gynecomastia specifically and elevated levels of estrogen in general. It increases production of FSH and LH which in turn can stimulate the testes to produce more testosterone which is especially beneficial at the end of a steroid cycle.
